I went Kayaking on the Waccamaw River and it was gorgeous. In fact, I went on kayak tours everyday this week. The weather was amazing in Conway, South Carolina. The most adventuress day was Monday. I went upriver from the Conway Bridge past the turn train bridge. The turn bridge was open and loaded with train cars. It was an amazing view looking up underneath the bridge at the under carriage of the train cars. Instead of paddling fast upriver for my workout I just hung around the turn bridge admiring the beautiful antique architect. The old rusted structures reminded me of a bygone era. Then, when I was caught up in my daydreaming, the train cars started moving along the bridge and the rusted tracks. It was a rush looking up at the steel cars rolling along the tracks. The whistle bellowing and the thud,…thump of the wheels was a great highlight.
