Just got back from kayaking and the water on the Waccamaw River and the water was awesome. I saw a small alligator, the same family of geese that followed me last week, a variety of ducks and a 6ft long water snake. I had two sets of tours today. My guides did the first one and called me to check some hazards on the water. This caused me to switch landings and the river was awesome. I had four little ducklings follow the group the entire trip and all 6 tourists loved it. The mothering instinct of the group kicked in each time a power boat would pass. I explained to them that the ducklings were use to the power boats. The group was on vacation from Ohio and was staying at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. SC.
